Dance Proms is a partnership project between the IDTA, ISTD, RAD and the Royal Albert Hall working together in celebration of dance.
UK & Ireland current members from the three dance organisations are invited to submit a short video online featuring an original piece of choreography performed either as a solo, duet or group performance by their students in any dance genre.
This partnership brings together the three national dance training and awarding bodies, which between them have more than 15,000 members within the UK and the Royal Albert Hall in an exciting collaboration that will enable young dancers from all over the country to perform on the stage of one of the world’s most iconic and prestigious venues. The final performance, on the 4 November 2012, will showcase the excellent work of the organisations and their teaching members to raise standards and increase participation in and appreciation of dance in the UK.
